Understanding pricing should be straightforward. That’s why we’re introducing a clearer, more transparent way to view pricing across our product range.
Goldstar® has transitioned from an all-inclusive pricing model to a component-based pricing structure. Instead of seeing a single bundled price, you’ll now see the blank product price alongside the cost of your chosen decoration method. Setup charges, run charges, and any additional decoration costs are clearly shown only when they apply.
The result is greater transparency, easier quoting, and a simpler way to plan your orders, so you can see exactly how your pricing is built.
What’s Actually Changing?
Before, our prices included everything bundled into one number. Product, decoration, setup, freight, all rolled in. It kept things simple on the surface, but it also made it harder to understand what you were actually paying for.
Now, you’ll see:
- Blank price – the product itself, based on quantity
- Setup charges – These are one-time fees applied per product and decoration technique
- Run charges – added separately per decoration method and per unit
- Freight – simple flat rate or free over £200, shown separately
- Rush charges – added separately when expedited production or shipping is requested
- No hidden costs – full visibility, every time

Why Are We Making This Change?
More competitive pricing
When freight and setup are bundled into a single unit price, the headline number looks higher than it needs to be. By separating these costs out, our prices become more competitive and easier to compare against other suppliers.
Greater transparency
You see exactly what goes into the cost of your order. No guesswork, no surprises at checkout. That clarity makes quoting faster and conversations with your customers a lot easier.

It’s the industry standard
Most leading European suppliers already display blank prices only. We’re aligning with what the market expects and making our pricing simpler for you to work with.
How It Works in Practice
Under the new model, you’ll see a clear breakdown for every product:
- Blank Price (product only) – Based on quantity
- Setup Charge – Shown separately where applicable
- Run Charge – Shown separately per decoration method
- Total Unit Price (excl. VAT, incl. shipping) – Clear and itemised
Same product. Same decoration. Lower headline price, full cost visibility.
Shipping: Simple and Predictable
We’ve also simplified our shipping policy so there’s nothing complex to calculate:
- Orders under £200 – Flat shipping fee of £10.00
- Orders £200 and above – FREE shipping
One rule. Clear costs. No variables to juggle.

The Bottom Line
This change is about giving you the tools to quote with confidence, compare accurately and build better relationships with your customers. Transparent pricing isn’t just an industry standard. It’s a better way to do business.
