The Latest in Full-Color: Heat Transfer
First, a quick explanation of Heat Transfer, our newest full-color printing technique. This process digitally prints images onto adhesive-backed film, which then gets applied to a product using a combination of pressure and thermal heat. The heat melts the adhesive and bonds to the porous surface of the product. Unlike our Colorjet™ technique which has been decorating bags for quite some time, Heat Transfer expands our capabilities and broadens the range of full-color decoration and offers numerous advantages:
- It’s a popular decoration method for apparel, bags and other fabrics, Heat Transfer provides a durable imprint ensuring that designs endure repeated use and washing over time.
- Heat Transfer’s water-based inks eliminate the need for high VOC chemicals and are a great full-color decoration choice for small or large run applications.
- Heat Transfer can replicate highly detailed, high-quality graphics or simple, solid lines or fills with ease. It offers flexibility in size and shape, yet maintains a consistent and professional appearance, enhancing the overall perception of the imprint.

Its vibrant, high-quality imprint is ideal for a wide variety of media, including metal pens, drinkware, bags and products with a soft-touch rubberized finish.
